The elegant Riedel "O" Decanter features a punt. This is an upward facing well in the base of the decanter that causes the wine to splay when poured in and increasing oxygenation. It also acts as a good thumb-hold providing you with a firm grip.
The slanted design allows precise control over the rate of pouring and the extra long lip helps prevent drips.

Cleaning instructions -
Wash under warm water, detergent is not necessary.
For extra shine, steam over boiling water.
Place on decanter drainer to dry.
To polish use linen tea towels.
